WE BELIEVE ALL ARE WORTHY OF LOVE
Pray for Our Team
The most important way you can get involved with All Worthy of Love is by praying with us and for us! So much of our ministry takes place by bringing God’s light to the darkness. Please pray for the men and women entangled in sex trafficking, that the captives would be set free, and that justice would reign. We believe that the Church is God’s answer to injustice and as believers the most powerful tool we have is prayer.
Each week our team conducts outreach and passes out 50-100 hygiene kits. Our main focus of outreach is to build relationships with our friends on the streets and to share the love of Jesus with each one, but we do recognize that there are other immediate needs we can meet! Hygiene Kits are a major part of our street outreach and an awesome way for you to get involved! We accept donations of specific items and donations of completed kits.
Each standard kit contains 9 travel-sized items: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, washcloth, deodorant, and a razor. We also like to add in some special items when we can, such as make up, nail polish, or perfume to help the women to feel beautiful… because they are!
Help Donate Meals
Each week our team conducts outreach and passes out 50-100 meals to individuals currently engaged in street prostitution. Our main focus of outreach is it build relationships with our friends on the streets and to share the love of Jesus with each one, but we do recognize that there are other immediate needs we can meet! Providing meals are a major part of our street outreach and an awesome way for you to get involved! We accept donations of specific items and donations of completed meals. Each week out meals are sponsored by various organizations and people within the community. If you have any questions or would like to sponsor our outreach please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We believe that each meal we pass out should be a meal we would serve to Jesus and that is why we love to bless our friends with extra meaty sandwiches with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, mustard, and thick slices of cheese!
Occasionally we like to have pizza parties! If you would like to sponsor a pizza party, please let us know!
Each meal contains…
- one drink,
- a hearty sandwich,
- a bag of chips,
- a granola bar,
- a rice crispy treat,
- and fruit snacks.
A really neat way to spread awareness and support All Worthy of Love is by hosting an awareness night! If you are interested in hosting an awareness night in your home, we would love to help out! We have a short awareness video, brochures, human trafficking statistic information sheets, outreach donation lists, and ways others can partner with us. We also have t-shirts and iPhone cases for sale as well. We have heard great success stories of events like this. Some groups have met on Sunday evenings and prepared sandwiches for our outreach team to take on Monday night and others have asked their guests to each bring a hygiene supply to compile hygiene kits! These events can be a lot of fun! Please let us know when you plan to host your event so our team can be praying! Awareness is such a powerful tool in the fight to end modern day slavery! Notes of Encouragement
With each meal and hygiene kit we give away we like to include a note of encouragement for our friends to take with them! Writing notes of encouragement is a great way to get involved and speak truth in love! We believe that people know what is wrong with them, they need to know what is right with them. Notes should be uplifting, positive, biblical, and in love. In June 2014, our team rescued a woman that was being trafficked by her husband in Detroit, MI., when we arrived to the safe house she pulled a note out of her pocked (pictured to the left) that she had been holding on to for months. She said every time she thought she couldn’t go on and felt completely hopeless, she would pull that note out and read it over and over again. We invite you to partner with us and write notes of encouragement for our outreach team to pass out.
Here are some examples
- You are worthy of love!
- You are loved because God loves you!
- I believe in you!
- You are His chosen!
- The Father delights in you!
- I’m praying for you!
- You are beautiful!
Our main focus of ministry is outreach. The vision of our outreach team is building consistent relationships. Our outreach team is intentionally kept small and we require a one-year commitment so our friends in the industry see the same people consistently and as a result develop deep friendships. We can spend three years fostering a relationship before seeing an individual ready to exit the industry.
A team of four goes out to the same neighborhood every week. We reach out to men and women working on the street and we visit several crack houses. We pray with prostitutes, pimps, drug dealers, and gang members. We believe that the individuals working the streets are enslaved to one thing and the pimps/drug dealers are enslaved to another – but both are worthy of love. We believe that people know what is wrong with them, they need to know what is right with them – so we speak truth in love. We encourage, pray, and tell them they are beautiful and amazing. In addition to praying with the individuals during outreach, we pass out meals and hygiene kits. We enjoy taking individuals out to dinner for their birthdays and having monthly Bible studies. The individuals we see weekly during outreach become family to our outreach team. If you feel led to partner with us in this way, please feel free to fill out on Outreach Application and email it to email@example.com
As of recently, we have seen a lot of men and women make the decision to exit the industry and take us up on our offer to assist them through detox and enter a one year restorative program. When an individual enters a program they enter with only the clothes on their backs. To better support the men and women we rescue from sex-trafficking, we have ‘Survivor Packs’ on hand to provide them with a new change of clothes to take into restorative care. Each ‘Survivor Pack’ is compiled into a backpack and contacts a package of underwear, socks, sweat pants, and a t-shirt (all brand new). Each pack will all be one size, either small, medium, large, or extra large. Example: If you are packing a survivor bag for a size medium, all the contents inside the backpack will be size medium.
